Guess the rent of this 3-bedroom ranch-style Seguin home

Guess the rent of this 3-bedroom ranch-style Seguin home

We are going to take a look at a more classic home that is very different from the newly-built home for a “young family” in New Braunfels. This three-bedroom home in Seguin has a very ranch-style home feel to it. True ranch style and not the modern versions where builders just slap the name on it.

This 1,871-square-foot home at 806 E Mountain St., Seguin, TX 78155, has a lot of unique character that you rarely find in new suburbs nowadays. It doesn’t look like the owner has replaced any of the fixtures. It maintains a lot of its retro fixtures. Everything just looks a little refreshed and well-kept. And the home is not far from where the Guadalupe River curves north into Seguin.

But how much will that run you per month in a city where people need roommates to afford a two-bedroom apartment?

Let’s jump in.

You can do so much with this space.

Those windows. The open space. This is definitely playing on the ranch-style home vibes. You can literally make this entire space into a family room and dining area. Those big windows are certainly working wonders for the lighting in this home.

Those wall dividers scream retro.

From another angle you can see that retro wall divider and a doorway that leads into the kitchen.

That pale colored tile counter is not bad.

You could have a small table in this kitchen and eat with a view of the backyard. The listing doesn’t say if the home comes with a refrigerator, but there is a gas stove.

You don't find this tile anymore.

That floor tile is not something you see in homes anymore. Maybe it’s a little too retro for most tastes. It’s definitely unique.

Bathrooms with the old tile kept in place is a favorite of mine.

The bathroom comes with what looks like classic, if not original, fixtures. I’m glad the tile counter has not been touched.

It doesn't look like it comes with a washer or dryer.

The washroom has the attachments for a washer and dyer but there is no word that those appliances come with the home.

The home comes with a shed connected to the carport.

The carport has a shed attached, which is great for storing all of your yard work tools. Does that up the price?

It's a backyard!

We have another backyard. This one looks pretty huge. It has an uncovered cement patio in the middle that catches the shade from the tree.
