CLINTON — Karen Bussolini has been a gardener all her lifetime and she hopes to share some of her understanding in an upcoming presentation.

She qualified as a painter and was an architectural photographer prior to specializing in yard pictures, creating, talking and eco-pleasant back garden coaching/structure.

Bussolini, also a Northeast Organic Farmers Affiliation Accredited Natural Land Care Expert, is thrilled to introduce a presentation on “Naturescaping”, by means of Zoom, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, which will be hosted by the Bigelow Absolutely free General public Library.

“Naturescaping is landscaping with nature — attracting and sustaining wildlife, making use of native and effectively-adapted plants, using sources correctly, and staying away from environmental pollution,” explained Bussolini. “But it also indicates landscaping like nature. Her garden writing has appeared in several publications, alongside with visitor website spots and newspaper columns. She has presented garden talks across the continent and has taught classes and workshops at such prestigious places as The New York Botanical Backyard garden.

In her own everyday living she is a reiki practitioner, river swimmer and member of The Kent Singers, a classical vocal ensemble.

“My eco-friendly backyard garden coaching practice is devoted to training house owners how to garden more sustainably, concentrating on developing wholesome yards that are resilient, comprehensive of life, diversity and delight,” Bussolini reported.
